We are ecstatic to be included as one of Michigan’s Economic Bright Spots by Corp! Magazine. The award honors companies that continue to grow and expand in Michigan. The continuous improvement of our solutions, manufacturing processes and safety initiatives were major contributors to our financial growth and success last year. But most importantly, it was our steadfast commitment to providing our customers the best products and services to meet their unique needs.
Our industry is also experiencing tremendous growth as more and more companies look to automate their warehouses and manufacturing facilities. This expansion means more jobs for engineers, project managers and service technicians. We have a number of openings for technical positions, and we expect this to continue into the future.
It is estimated that by 2030, more than 20% of Americans are projected to be aged 65 and over, compared with 13% in 2010 and 9.8% in 1970, according to a recent study from the U.S. Census Bureau (http://goo.gl/IAHhsk ). That is why we encourage young people to get involved in STEM programs, which support science, technology, engineering and mathematics. We’ve sponsored several FIRST (For Inspiration and Recognition of Science and Technology) robotics teams throughout Michigan. Our internship program is continuously growing. We are always looking for interns/co-ops who ready to jump in and learn more about our exciting industry!
