Over the past few years, ELS has increased the number of veterans it has hired by nearly 20%. ELS provides Operation and Maintenance (O&M) services at dozens of airports across the U.S., including servicing sophisticated In-Line Baggage Handling Systems (BHS), Passenger Boarding Bridges (PBB), Facilities, Ground Support Equipment (GSE) and vehicle fleets. Nearly 90% of our positions are technical and mechanical positions. Veterans who received this type of training in the military are often a great fit for our positions, particularly light or heavy wheel mechanics. We provide technical training to all veterans and supervisory training to interested employees. Some of the veterans we hired for first tier positions are now supervisors and managers. We also offer time off for those who are still active duty or reservists. Most of all, we provide the respect that our heroes deserve after so bravely serving their country.
